| It's a snowy day in Southern California. Deputy Christina Gonzalez with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office and her rookie partner Jackie Sullivan get a call that an unconscious naked man has been found at an abandoned old K-Mart. Tina drives the cruiser over there to check and the man is Carlos Ochoa, her ex-lover who left her 6 months before. He had a head wound and had been dumper there. EMTs are called and they take him to a hospital.
Carlos was a cop who was kicked off the force. His brother died and he went wild with grief. Carlos dropped everyone then - his family, his friends, his fiance Tina. Will Tina forgive Carlos when she learns the truth? I loved the characters of Tina and Carlos. They're both very strong, proud, passionate. Life has thrown some very heavy hits their way. Will they be able to recover from past pain and move forward together? This story is very intense and about situations where only the strong survive. I recommend it to everyone looking for a moving story.
