Life is good or so Teal thought until she had an impulsive, hot sexual encounter with Mac Tirelli at her local health club. Afterwards, Teal was very distraught by her actions because Mac is nearly ten years her junior, to bigheaded for his britches and whenever he is near Teal’s libido goes into maximum overdrive. Determined take back control, Teal decided to kick Mac to the curb.

However, fate has an act for changing things ­ a major dilemma is on the horizon for Teal and Jenna’s joyful relationship. And, Mac is the only person who can aid Teal in maintaining balance.

From the beginning, you are immediately swept up into Teal and Mac’s juicy foreplay. I sincerely enjoyed the way Ms. Soarde’s words compelled me to quickly turn the pages seeking more delicious sensational, wild interactions between Mac and Teal, whether it was sexual or word disagreements. The passion between these two sizzled and intensified throughout the novel. It was also a delight to read how both Teal and Mac struggled to remain the dominate partner within their whirlwind of a relationship. Readers, you should also keep a few tissues handing because there are some tearful moments within this read. Overall, I took pleasure in reading Balance of Power. Ms. Soarde has become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to her next book because I know without a doubt it will not be disappointing.
