Alice runs her business on making people want to eat the things she cooks, when she is nearly killed on live TV, she asks Ace to help keep her safe. The two do not instantly get along but they are attracted to each other. Can the two overcome their personalities and the force coming against them to try to possess Alice?

I really enjoyed this book. It was just a good as the first book in the Sexy Superheros series, if not better. The storyline moves along smoothly and swiftly, and tells a witty and humorous story of two people with larger than life personalities, trying to find common ground if not love. The characters are all well written and their interactions go well together. It's very easy to visualize the characters together and the sparks they set off. I enjoyed Ace and watching him grow and change throughout the story, I especially like all the grief he gets for his long hair. Alice is a strong woman who knows how to get what she wants. The author writes her well and gives her a good balance so that she comes off likeable, which is hard when writing a strong female character. There is plenty of hot steamy sexual tension and sex in the story, enough to keep you warm in these cold winter nights. Another great read from Rebecca Royce. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
