| Raina wanted only to help the man who's ship had crashed as

finding Talon chained and tortured she realizes she must help him
escape before Tabitha tries to kill him. Rania knows once she helps
Talon escape she can never go back home, her only option is to
travel to the Barbarian King's home. Talon also known as the Barbarian King wasn't looking for trouble when his ship crashed and never expected help from the woman who showed up to rescue him. After accepting her help and healing he goes back to her village with her only to be imprisoned and made a slave by the leader Tabitha. Talon knows his only way out is if Raina helps him to escape but he never figured on having to take her to his home planet. Knowing she has no place to go and she can't go home, Talon takes her to his home but will Raina be able to adjust to the ways of his planet and are the feelings he has deeper than they appear to be. Amanda Steiger is a new author to me but one thing is certain, she's good. Her love scenes sizzle with heat and tension and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The book reads so well it seems to fly by and before you know it, the happy ending is there. If great futuristic books are a favorite then you' ll love Barbarian.
