Lena Matthews does a phenomenal job in conveying the hardships, the trials, and the happy highs that Brody and Missy experience together, with the wonderful addition of plenty of humor to make even the tensest situation more hospitable. The talented Ms. Matthews has a great capacity for creating believable relationships that touch the reader. Neither Brody nor Missy is perfect, but together their flaws seem less important in the face of their strengthening relationship. If you haven't read anything by Ms. Matthews yet, this is the perfect story to showcase her writing capabilities, and it will definitely entice you to buy her backlist.
