| Serena Livingston had come from an abusive marriage and nasty divorce to relax in Rome with her good friend Kyara Di Spadafiera. Vowing not to give her heart to a man ever again she finds that her first encounter is with a tall dark handsome man who comes to her aid when she trips on the street corner. This handsome man seems to have made an impression on her and when at a chance meeting at her friends party she learns he is Kyara 's cousin who is a Count she feels she has been embarrassed by her mistaken him for a gypsy and thief. It is at this party that she realizes he is a gentleman and soon she doesn't seem to be able to get him out of her mind and he can't get her out of his. Even when she goes back to the States she still can't seem to stop thinking of him to the point that she has dreams of him. The moments they shared those precious intimate times always haunt her. Yes, this does have a happy ending and for all of us who love true romance at it's best read this book and fall in love with the characters as I did.
