Bastet and his friends have to keep the secrets of their longevity and keep Kellan alive. Bastet and the rest of the Earth Warriors are linked directly with the Egyptian gods, immortal and sexily strong men given power to shape shift in to the animal of their god. Bastet is willing to give everything to save his young new love even if it means breaking his vow. Kellan is a young and fairly naive man who loves his work and his research, with an inner strength I don't think even he knew he had until it was tested. Together they make an appealing couple and I can only hope the rest of the boys find soul-mates as suited to their individuality.
