Alex is the captain of The Justice and owner of a secret. One day he goes out during a storm and is shipwrecked just off the coast of Washington, rescued by an angel. Could he be dead? Sylvia is one of the most beautiful women he has ever met. Her parents died two months ago and now she is the lighthouse keeper, but not for long...

The first few pages of this story didn't impress me, only by the end of the first chapter was when this story got me hooked. Sylvia is a touching character, brave and sweet, she captivated the reader's heart and also Alex's. Something very unique made me feel captured by this book, it's not just another pirate's tale. Dawn brought it to life so beautifully that explored the depth, the setting and how real it could feel.

I found some very basic grammar and editing errors through the story, something that doesn't usually bother me, however in this case, it made a lot of difference. It pulled me out of the story and I had to go back only to see it happen again. Overall, I was enthralled by this lovely tale.
