Travis has just taken the Bar Exam and decided to gift himself by signing up for/hiring Madame Eve's services. When she finds him a match it takes him to Grand Turk Island. John has finally decided to go back to actually having a life and dating. He heard about Madame Eve's services and also signed up. When I first read the blurb I purchased the novella because Ms. Wadsworth was the author, it was one of the 1 Night Stand Series and when it describes John being a bear I thought it meant bear-shifter. After I finished laughing at myself I read the story and loved it!

John is everything Travis has wished for in his life as well as when he filled out the questionnaire informing Madame Eve what he was looking for. John described his wants as similar to his deceased partner, so he and Travis have a rocky beginning. Ms. Wadsworth is very witty and wrote such a wonderful story. She manages to show us the sad and more dramatic experiences of John and Travis' lives without being too melodramatic. This is a stand-alone story and there are twenty nine so far in the series. I am so happy bought this one! I own at least sixteen of them and this story makes me want to read more from the series but definitely makes me want to read more from Ms. Wadsworth as her writing is just awesome!
