Jade Buchanan has created a whimsical, funny, short summer read. Setting the story in the great north, the author introduces you to a pair of grizzly polar bear cross shifters who entertain and delight the reader as they meet their polar bear mate. The story draws the reader in with well written dialogue and interesting minor secondary characters who are intrinsic to the storyline. The explicit content of the story is well done and assists with the story line rather than being major focus of the text. I really enjoyed getting to know Chris, Theo and Rob and found myself rooting for the boys as they go from meeting to mating. The only down side of the story is that it is so good that it leaves the reader wanting more from these three playful shifters.
