One day Eric decided he needed to find out if he really was gay. He was tired of living the life he was living; the lies, the drinking, and the anger that ruled his life. He goes to a gay dance social and there he meets Nick. Nick is a beautiful man inside and out and he and Eric click instantly. With Nicks' love and understanding, he helps Eric come to terms with the man he really is. But the path to true love never did run smoothly and the two men face many trials on their road to true love.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are very engaging and well developed, the story is well thought out and written, and the m/m sex scenes are really steamy. But the thing I liked most about it is that it's a love story in the truest sense. Though the characters faced many obstacles, they relied on each other and their families and friends to get them through like normal people would do. Sometimes it seemed the supporting characters were a little too perfect, but for all the trials they had to go through, it balanced out. I liked that Eric's life was not miraculously fixed when he met Nick. He still had fears and hang ups about coming out, Nick just made it easier. I liked that Nick had his own problems with being pretty; it's something that is overlooked sometimes, that someone can be too pretty. This book is not for everyone, some may find it offensive because of the gay theme and the explicit m/m sex. It also deals some with how the characters view fundamentalist religion. I thought this book was a great read. It has a little bit of drama, action, humor and suspense and a lot of love.
