Sara Delaney loves her job as an E.R. nurse, but her life has become boring lately. That is until former high school jock, Alex Conrad, shows up in her E.R. suffering from an allergic reaction, not to mention his large ego when he questions her bedside manner. In high school, Alex broke her heart when he took her virginity and then moved on. But now he is back in town and ready to pick up where he left off. However, the girl he left behind all those years ago may be more woman than he can handle.

What a fun book to read. I had no idea that this story would have me giggling like a teenager throughout. The bantering and bickering between the Delaney siblings is hilarious. The characters are interesting and lifelike. What’s great about this story is that it could easily take place in any medium sized town across the country. I found it very easy to visualize this story taking place in my own hometown. If you are looking for a book that has great hometown appeal, but also has loads of sexual chemistry, this book is what you need. Sara and Alex’s chemistry is so hot I wouldn’t be surprised if their windows were steamed whenever they were intimate.

Plus, having your former high school jock show up needing your help is a very nice ego booster. Alex however, had plenty of ego to spare which kept Sara on her toes and on the defensive around him. I greatly enjoyed myself while reading this story. With its hometown feel, loads of sexual chemistry, interesting characters and an entertaining plot, it’s easy to see that this book is a fun read. If all of that sounds like something you enjoy reading, go get your copy today and give it a try.
