| Tamara thought she'd left vampire politics behind, until a volatile situation arises and she finds herself caught in the middle. Literally. To create a balance of power, Tamara, together with her friends Dominic and Marc, have to form a triad and fast. As far as Tamara is concerned, she's left with few choices. Either way she'll lose and more than just the independence she's worked so hard for.
Marc and Dominic are the heads of their powerful families. Neither find forming a triad with Tamara distasteful. In fact, they're both looking forward to it. Both men are very different. Marc is playful and charming and Dominic is intense and controlled. They adore Tamara and have known her for a long time. They know how hard Tamara worked to gain her independence just as they also know she's never dated a vampire. With this in mind, they make sure she finds the whole experience enjoyable and not frightening. Most of all, they wish to keep her safe from harm. Together as three, their power will be immense and they will need it for what lays ahead. Oh boy, this is one hot novel. Phew. I've always enjoyed Marly Chances' novels but this one has to be my favorite. The dialogue is fast flowing with lots of wit and snappy comebacks. I loved it and that alone totally entertained me. The personalities of the characters, both main and secondary, made them jump off the page. I enjoyed how different each was. There are no cardboard characters within this story. Tension and lots of it added a serious element to this story. Been There, Bit That is an extremely well-written, thoroughly entertaining novel that I will be reading again.
