| Tara wants to find her missing friend and fellow agent who disappeared while in a club. Tara agrees to pose as a submissive in the club to look for clues but her partner isn't quite masterful enough to be a Dom so she is paired with Logan. High school sweethearts until Logan pushed her away without a reason caused Tara heartache. Tara finds it difficult to trust him, but a good Dom knows how to make his submissive submit and Logan plans to be a very good Dom! Their future and their lives depend on Logan coaxing Tara to trust him, and for them to find out who is running the sexual slavery ring operating out of the club.
When you read a book from this series, you expect lots of eroticism and this book delivers! Sexual tension abounds in the first half of the book without any intercourse taking place and once Logan and Tara consummate their adult relationship that tension explodes. I really liked how the reader was allowed into both their minds to understand each of their feelings. I expected Logan to be arrogant and bossy, and while he did have those traits, he was also very sweet and possessive at the core. His reasons for walking out on Tara as a teen were very valid given his age and maturity level. Tara's trust issues got a little old but again the reader knows what she is going through emotionally. The plot was realistic, almost too much so since we know there are very real problems with sexual slavery all over the world. The believable plot held my interest since the focus was on Tara and Logan and how they reconnect. Explicit sex and quick moving plot will have you reading this long into the night!
