| Jana had been divorced for almost two yearsplenty of time for her to get over her ex, Lawe. At least that is what her two best friends, Marilyn and Becca, thought! Their mission was to get her involved in the Valentine’s Day Charity Auction; they had participated, now it was her turn! Even though it was done anonymously (the contestants wore face masks), no one had any trouble distinguishing one lady from the other. When her turn came, she heard the bidding go up and up. When she looked for that familiar voice, she saw and heard her brother-in-law. Rule was her ex-husband’s twin, and the two of them stood together in the back of the room.
Jana had loved Rule for a couple of years now, since he helped her get through her awful mess of a marriage to his brother! Never were two men more different! Why was Lawe now acting like Jana was still his? What did he care if his brother dated his ex-wife? Why would they scare her when they started arguing and finally left for Rule’s office to “settle” things? What a unique concept! This plot is almost comical, light-hearted fun, with a sensual touch. Loribelle Hunt has done a wonderful job of creating interesting, captivating characters whose stories hold attention and make this particular tale so unforgettable! The ways she presented the couple, as both (unknowingly to the other) in love so long that the explicit sexual scenes started almost immediately! Don’t worry, though. In this setting, it certainly works! I highly recommend this book.
