Beowulf and Roxie is a magical fairytale filled with lots of humor, loving and adventure. What I loved about this book was the way Ms. Chenery mixed the characters, making them all blend in so well that the story actually came alive in your imagination. Roxie was shy but knew how to turn the heat on when it came to Beowulf. The heat between them was so scorching and it made you wish that Beowulf was the guy you had met in the bar while out one night with your girlfriends. Talk about yummy. His feelings were right out front, keeping his hands off Roxie was such a no no that sometimes they just drop their clothes and did the deed. With the bad guys delving into a prophecy that they weren't aware of and that dealt them a huge blow which they rightly deserved, Beowulf and Roxie had to learn to not only trust their love but also to learn a very important lesson in life about what true love really means.
