Lorelei (Lori) reread the note while Will, Brian's best man, stood beside her. Will had been Lori's best friend for years. If he had met her before she met Brian, he would have been the one she married. Now, at the last moment, standing in the dressing room with Brian, Lori had to face the fact that not only had Brian left her standing at the altar, but he had another girlfriend. She would be horrified in the morning after spending her "supposedly" honeymoon night in the suite reserved for them. Instead of Brian, Will was with her.

Will had loved Lori for years. He would do anything for her. Things would certainly get more complicated before there could ever be a happily-ever-after. It seemed impossible that Will could stand back and allow her to decide for herself whether she wanted him or the repentant groom.

Ceri Hebert has written a wonderfully gripping fast-paced book. The book was so emotionally-charged that it was almost impossible to put down. Her writing style made the plot come to life. She described the New England surroundings so vividly I felt as if I was seeing it myself. The sensuality was sweet as well as hot. This storyline was so well written that I wanted the story to continue.

The book had some secondary characters that were important but only occasionally seen in the manuscript. There were definitely some surprise happenings which made the book even more wonderful to read. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
