H. A. Fowler has penned an excellent faerie tale for Christmas or any time of the year. She does a great job building the characters and dialogue to make it fun, erotic and good reading. Jenna has had a sad life in many ways but she keeps plugging along, doing the best she can no matter what is thrown at her. Her ex, Leo, is an aloof, self centered, philandering man who thinks he can do no wrong. There's a certain satisfaction when Phinn puts his fist in the face of the egotistical snob. The author makes it pretty obvious that Jenna did the right thing getting her son out of his hands. For someone who's never really met a woman before Phinn seems to be just what is needed to make Jenna stronger and take a definite edge off of her sexual frustration! Ms. Fowler spins an excellent fantasy with a superb ending!
