| Chloe has been hurting for six months since Sean walked out of her life without an explanation. Her friend Sabrina has urged her to get in touch with him so she can find closure, but she doesn’t know where to find him. Her job is stagnant and she has been passed over for a raise, but like her love life, she just can’t move on. One day she races for the elevator only to find Sean inside. A power failure helps to rekindle the lust that they have always felt, but until Sean opens up to Chloe they don’t stand a chance together.
This is a warm story of love lost and found again. Sean has had a very difficult life and it is difficult for him to feel comfortable with Chloe’s love. Six months away from her has only increased his feelings for her but he is unable to express them. Chloe has been terribly hurt by Sean’s abandonment and still does not know why he left. They both have very strong feelings for each other and the author does a wonderful job of bringing them back together again. The love scenes are sensual and tender and the two characters are very well drawn and so real that the reader will feel like they know them. This author tells a wonderful story.
