Cassidy Yates is still heartbroken a year after her husband’s death. Her friend, April, convinces her she needs a vacation, a little time away. But when they get to the Keys, Cassidy realizes her friend’s idea of getting away is not the same as hers. April suggests a way to ease her pain is to sleep with the hottest guy she can find. However, Cassidy has never been one to bed hop and quickly refuses that suggestion. Abandoned and feeling lonely, Cassidy is utterly mortified when she goes for a midnight swim and ends up masturbating in the hot tub to the memory of her husband. She rushes back to her room and prays no one saw her.

Chase Dempsey is on vacation from his Texas ranch. He is not looking for love, he only wants a few days of relaxation. But when he witnesses the beautiful redhead in the hot tub, he has to know what makes her tick. He uses her lost sarong as his excuse for finding her, but never expects to want more than just to spend some time with her and definitely doesn’t expect love to sneak up on him.

Michelle Cary has written an excellent tale of lost love and dealing with the pain. At times this was a very emotional story, Ms. Cary did such a great job of making me feel Cassidy’s over whelming pain. I just wanted to cry for her loss. However at times it made me smile and feel hope. This is such a great read. Anyone looking for a short, emotional, sexy story -- this is it.
