A reluctant Tara McAllister accompanies her friend to a Renaissance Faire, where thanks to her virginal status she becomes the center of attention. Duncan MacCoinnich and his brother Fin have travelled from sixteenth century Scotland to stop a powerful Druid witch. Their sole mission; ravish the chaste maidens. Tara is attracted to Duncan but has her reasons for remaining sexually inactive at the ripe-old age of twenty-five. When an ancient binding, disguised as a mock hand-fasting ceremony takes place between the couple Tara is transported to Duncan's home. Now can they prove their love is timeless?

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It whisked me into an adventure that I was sorry to see end. This was a wonderful read full of drama, humor, action and romance. To be completely honest I didn't like Tara until I was well into the book but the steady pace of the story drew me in and I simply imagined myself as the feisty heroine. Duncan was a timeless knight; honorable and heroic. Then when you put the chivalrous hottie in a kilt of course I'm a puddle of mush! The dialogue between the two was filled with skilled sexual tension and witty banter. The plot was well developed and the scenes so stunningly described that I could practically smell the authentic aromas of the Renaissance Faire. The secondary characters were as fabulously alive as the main couple. I loved the relationship between Tara and Myra; their talks had me giggling to myself on more than one occasion. I'm hoping the author revisits these characters as I want to know what other exploits they can get up to. This is one to read.
