| Meg is a vampire who is intrigued by a woman she sees alone one night in the Pigalle district of Paris. Meg just has to know why this woman looks so sad, Meg has to know everything about her. So Meg sits down and introduces herself that's when she learns that Grace and her boyfriend moved to Paris together soon after he dumped her because she was "boring in the bedroom." The woman take their conversion to a new location, and Grace founds out that Meg is a vampire one who aside from "feeding" protects the women of Paris from being abducted or worst on the streets.
The story was good and short. It made for a good piece of light reading, if you want to sneak in something that isn't so serious. The story was sweet, well written, and rare -- about a lesbian vampire and a straight human female. The fact that Grace didn't really blink at Meg being a vampire made me say hmm. I could see Grace who was amazingly straight at the beginning kissing Meg but having sex with her was something I didn't buy. Now no matter what I read, it's really hard for me to believe anyone can fall in love with someone two seconds after meeting them. Besides that, the story was really good and I would recommended it anyone.
