Gertrude Prescott is a grade school teacher who ends up in a seedy bar trying to find some sex and runs into Cameron. Cameron mistakes Trudy for the hooker he is looking for and takes her back to a hotel room. They both are attracted to each other, but Cam thinks she is a hooker so leaves the money he wants to give as a reward on the bed and hightails it out of the hotel.

Trudy is upset and angry over this treatment and tracks down Cam where he is staying to give back his money. By the time she has convinced Cam that she is a teacher and isn’t the hooker he thinks she is, she wants to help him out and is very attracted to him. She lets him know where she lives so he can make his way to her when he’s ready.

Cam moves in with her and they start healing each other, both have things in their past to overcome. They decide to be just friends and try to stay that way but the heat and sexual attraction won’t let them stay that way for long.

This story will have you experiencing every emotion that exists. You will laugh out loud over the humor between Trudy and Cam. You will cry over the pain and guilt that Cam fights and must face over his partner’s death. The lust and sexual heat between Cam and Trudy will leave you hot and breathless. You will rejoice when both decide to let go of the past and try and find a way to be happy together. This book will fulfill every need that you have and will leave you very satisfied.
