| Cassy Ryan has been assigned by her law professor to partner with the class Casanova, Robert Powell. Cassy is determined to keep things strictly professional by not falling into Bobby’s passionate web. Furthermore, Cassy is not about to sacrifice her marriage and family by becoming sexually involved with Mr. Powell.
At first sight, Bobby knew that there was something special about the alluring Cassandra Ryan. Instead of focusing on their class project, Bobby’s attention was on making Cassy his woman. However, there was one problem, Cassy has a husband…a husband who doesn’t understand the value of the exquisite woman he has as a wife. Now, Bobby must turn up his charm to the highest extreme and convince Cassy that they are soulmates. I found Black Horizons to be a very unique and charming story that had me quickly turning the pages until the very last word was read. Ms. Cummings threw in a great twist. This tale was told in first person from Bobby’s point of view. Bobby was determined to love and cherish his beautiful black queen body and soul. Bobby refused to give up on Cassy for he knew she was the love of his life and deep down Cassy felt the same way about him, even though she tried to hide behind her loveless marriage. Ms. Cummings has done a magnificent job of balancing the tension with bursts of passion, humor and friendship. Bobby and Cassy heat up the pages with their zesty interactions and I truly enjoyed getting to know them through Bobby’s eyes.
