Phebe is a clerk in a bookstore, living a boring life. So the night of the masquerade ball in Washington, D. C., she decides to change all of that for one night. Her plan is simple. Seduce the first sexy man at the ball that sets her desire aflame. But when her chosen hunk, a blonde dressed in a kilt invites her to his room she hesitates. Can she really go through with it?

She knows this is her one chance to do something daring and to have a great time doing it, so there is no way she can back down. She walks into his room to find a gorgeous, blonde, kilt-wearing man, and follows through with her plan to seduce him. However, early the next morning she realizes things are not as they should be, as she is no longer in the right year. What year is it anyway and who is this man she just spent the night with?

Carolina Valdez has written a great story. It is well written, with wonderful characters. Anyone who loves a good time-travel will love this one. I adored Phebe and her sexy highlander is to die for. The passion that burned between them is scorching and their journey kept me on the edge of my seat hoping for their happily ever after. This is a definite keeper.
