| Sabina Comti is an extraordinary singer and possesses an amulet that gives her superhuman powers. Adam Morelly is heir apparent to the Morelly mafia family. Victor Price is dead but his daughter is intent on carrying on his quest to possess all five amulets.
This third book of the Amulet series by Sandra Cox is as good or better than the first two. The same powerful suspense. Excellent dialogue. Characters who seem like the girls next door one minute but who can wield super powers in the blink of an eye if any of them are threatened. Victoria Price is a chip off the evil block she had for a father. A master of disguise, we never know what role the author will have her playing next. She’s as sick as any psychopath but with a strange ability to fool everyone as she proves all too often. Sabina and Adam are drawn towards one another like metal filings to a magnet but they seem to want such different things from life. As soon as they seem to get close the vicious Victoria interferes. Ms. Cox has built another superb tale of mystery, suspense, love and friendship. The three women with the amulets are finding new ways to combine their powers to help one another. I honestly can’t wait for the next book in this series. There are two more amulets to go and I’m anxious to see what these fantastic women and this versatile author will come up with next. All of the books in the series can stand alone but they’re all so much fun I recommend them highly.
