Rose has grown stronger from having to survive on her own but she still feels the pain and anger of rejection. For such a strong character she is emotionally vulnerable. Rose’s emotions are heartfelt and readers will find themselves feeling angry and sad for all she has had to experience. The romance develops quickly between Ivan and Rose but it too is not without problems. The sex is exciting but with this also comes a lot of emotions. She had loved her family that then threw her away; can she really risk her heart and love someone again? This is a fast paced story that readers can lose themselves in very easily.
