| A bad day did not even begin to cover the day Dr. Serina Spencer had just endured. So when a man is screaming for help outside her door, she just prays she doesn't have to deal with any more dead tonight. What she finds in the carriage astounds her. Not only because the two occupants are barely alive, but the man takes her breath away. Saving Lucian and Raven St. James changes her life forever. But will the evil vampire that tried to kill them find a way to take Lucian from Serina before they have a chance for happily ever after?
Eden's Black Rose was a little confusing in the beginning. Trying to piece together who was who took a little time. The plot, while creative, seemed too drawn out. Many times during the book it seemed like all was well and time to end, but then something else would happen. Some new character would suddenly be introduced, with some new problem. The characters were all imaginative and easy to like, except for their dialogue. I imagine a wealthy member of the royal family to speak eloquently. But their speaking was very crude sounding. It made it hard to be drawn into the story when at times it sounded so unappealing. All in all though this was a very imaginative story, with some really well described villains. Some of the evil character's descriptions were very one of a kind and gross. The vampires in this book are unique. The overall story is interesting, with it's wonderful romance between Serina and Lucian. It also has lots of action and drama. So if you like a romance with lots of bumps in the road this is the book for you!
