| Black Thunder is the story of a Fox warrior who wants revenge. Kira Sweet is on a vacation after a bad experience with her ex-boyfriend. She has come to the Fox Casino and Hotel to enjoy herself. Black Thunder senses in this woman the soul of the Frenchman that killed his wife, two sons, and infant daughter during the 1700's. He means to have his revenge against this soul. Kokopelli is the deity of dating and mating; he is on the spiritual plain with Black Thunder and tries to warn him against revenge. There are things that Black Thunder is unaware of that will influence the outcome of this story.
Black Thunder is appropriately titled for the main character. Black Thunder is a spirit that cannot move on to the afterlife. He grieves for his lost family and is consumed by the need for revenge. Kira is a sexual woman who does not understand the dreams she is having. She is at the casino to have some fun, she does not plan to meet her soul mate or her soul-enemy. She plans on working off her frustration about a relationship that has gone wrong. The setting is the casino, hotel, and some time is spent on the spirit plain. It is a very creative story about revenge. The ending concept about souls truly was a surprise. The dialogue was well written and easily followed. The sex is exciting and creative. Especially the places the sex takes place such as a stairway and on the spirit plain. The sex is described in explicit detail. I feel this story will be enjoyed for it erotic content as well as its paranormal aspects. The fact that there was included some historical facts, I considered an enjoyable bonus.
