Kitty Lazarus can't help reading the new pub owner's mind that's her gift but his thoughts are very different from anyone else's. Very 3-D, and they always involve stripping her naked and doing wickedly erotic things to her. Haden Blackwood doesn't need the complication of lusting after Kitty Lazarus, for many reasons. One, he wants to expand his pub into the store she leases. Two, he’s wanted for murder. And three, he’s a werewolf. But he can't fight his sexual attraction to Kitty she smells so good and pretty soon he's going to have to act on it. As Haden’s past begins to catch up with him, Kitty begins to see horrifying images in his thoughts a bloody murder and Haden sprouting fangs and fur. To survive a murdering lunatic both of them will have to make a leap of faith and trust each other.

Kitty is a fun character and the reading of thoughts added a unique aspect to the story. The gift is new to her and it’s fun to watch her deal with working out the kinks. We are introduced to Haden through his dirty little mind and I was immensely attracted to that. I loved Haden from that point on even as he struggled with being a wolf and being framed for murder. The sex was spicy to begin with but when you add all the wicked thoughts floating around, the book positively sizzled. All of this in addition to exciting suspense and a burgeoning relationship, this book is definitely a page-turner. I hope this is just the beginning of a long-standing series because I genuinely want the story to continue, to know what happens to Kitty and Haden from here, especially Haden’s werewolf family.
