Electra is head of Medusa's Hand. Usually her work is dangerous, but this mission is just gathering information. Shouldn't be a problem at all, especially with the microscopic nanocytes who can change her appearance and collect data from any computer source. But somehow she's discovered downloading the file ''Gold." Things keep going wrong from there, and Electra ends up in the hands of someone very dangerous.

Midas is directly under Electra, and he's the one who fed her the information on the Gold file. He didn't know he was sending her into a trap. Now' Midas is determined to rescue the woman he's come to admire and desire to the point of obsession.

Operation: Pleiades - Blast Wave was one of the few romances that struck me as an action/adventure romance from the start. It was absolutely full of action and fast-paced suspense. Electra was the ultimate bad girl heroine, and I mean heroine in the sense of being one of the good guys. She was so mouthy and tough. As for Midas...man, was he hot! The way he was described, down to his dreads, was awful because I can never have him. Sexy and erotic doesn't begin to describe the sex between those two. Operation: Pleiades - Blast Wave was an excellent book by far. The plot, pace, characters, sex, and the cliffhanger ending made me keep reading without regard to time. This was just a REALLY good book.
