| Qunicy Delaney's full-time job is at Global Manufacturing but when the day is done she can be found making laps around the racecar track. Her mother, Falicy, has been trying to set up a blind date for Quincy for months. Now, Falicy's friend has gotten involved, requesting that Quincy show her nephew, Mace, around town. One phone conversation with Mace has Quincy drooling all over herself. But there's no way the man can look as good as his voice sounds. Or can he? They meet at the only upscale restaurant in Sage, Michigan. One look at Mace and, yes, the man is definitely as good looking as his voice sounded. But as the two begin spending time together, Quincy discovers that Mace seems to have some sort of problem with the fact that she is a racecar driver.
Refusing to give up racing, Quincy begins avoiding Mace. Then, Quincy is involved in an accident on the track. When she awakes in the hospital, injured and facing an FBI detective, the trouble hits the fan. The accident may not have been an accident after all. Was someone trying to kill her? If so, who? She is interrogated, taken into protective custody by the FBI, and given no chance to talk to Mace, let alone work things out with him. BLIND DATE is full of twists and turns that keep the reader guessing and turning the page. The action happens so fast there's no way you have time to get bored. Quincy is a strong-headed woman with her life planned out until Mace steps in and makes her think twice. Mace is a gorgeous, smooth talking reporter investigating possible problems with Global Manufacturing. Between the two, there is enough going on to keep you wondering and intrigued till the end.
