Kristen Nickels hates blind dates, yet there's no way she can say no when she's asked to go on one, especially when it's with her best friends brother, Chase. However, the timing couldn't be worse as she's leaving town in a matter of days. What if she falls for him? What then?

Chase Edwards has been blind since he was eight, and waiting for a cornea transplant which he hopes he'll be hearing about any day now. But for one night, he's going to enjoy himself and finally meet his sister's best friend, the woman he's been asking his sister to set him up on a blind date up with.

From the start, Blind with Love captivated my attention with two strong characters that have great chemistry from the moment they meet. The plot was thoroughly enjoyable and emotional the whole way through, but still I couldn't put it down. I liked the dialogue especially when it came to the hot sex scenes, because it was so playful since Chase and Kristen both wanted to be the one with all the power. What I liked so much about Kristen was that she wanted to keep her life private, and not drag someone else through the emotional ringer she was headed for. However, in saying that, I couldn't understand her motives at first because Chase was such a good guy and would have stuck by her through thick and thin. While with Chase, I liked his persistence in discovering where Kristen was once she'd disappeared from his life.

Overall, this was a great short story and illustrates that love can be blind but no matter what you'll always find your way back to each other. And that nothing can stand in the way of what is meant to be.
