| Running for her life from some rouge wolves, Maggie O'Leary prayed that someone heard her call for help. Someone did in the form of a scarred, one-eyed silver wolf name Pavel Ivanov. With his help, Maggie came away from danger with her life and found herself a mate. A mate who fought against the inevitable and was determined to leave Maggie behind with a new pack.
I enjoyed reading this story of Pavel and Maggie. If there was ever two beings who needed one another, these two surely did. Life had given Pavel a hard blow, one from which he had never quite recovered. And so he fought against what god had given to him as a gift -- a mate to love and some one who would fight for him, with him and show him that having a mate was a good thing to have. Maggie was brave and willing to sacrifice what she had, ached for, in order to show Pavel that in her world he meant more than what she craved. Filled with loser rouge wolves who think to much of themselves and hot sexual passion, this book is an excellent summer read.
