| Jonquelle has been sent back to Blaze Station to find a serial killer. Someone is killing and mutilating women that look like her. Jon was once a security guard there and was involved with two of the three brothers who run the pleasure station. She ran away under stressful circumstances, but she is the only Inspector who truly knows all of the ins and outs of this orgy in space. It rapidly becomes apparent that one of the three brothers, Vorians who gain immortality through sexual pleasure, is the killer. Jon is faced with a tough assignment since all the evidence points to Lukan, the brother she still has deep feelings for, but the gentle brother she once knew has changed, he is angry and claims that Jon is his mate.
I really enjoyed this story. The Blaze Station is a pretty graphic sexual palace with the three brothers providing pleasure to all. The author manages to convey the atmosphere of the place very quickly. She also paints a pretty thorough picture of each of the brothers and their relationship with Jonquelle. I immediately was drawn to Lukan’s character as intended and wondered about his personality change. That change pointed to Jon. Jon has a hard time following her superior’s orders about no sexual contact with the suspects, but these are extenuating circumstances. The ending will not be a surprise but the trip to get there is definitely a good one.
