As a bounty hunter and vampire, Anna is well skilled in more areas than some but she has her own battle that rages inside her but knowing that Trish could be Steve’s daughter, she decides to investigate which takes her directly to Daniel and the school. Daniel is an English teacher and a shapeshifter, a panther. He insists in helping Anna find the girl and unlocking the mystery. But as time progresses, Anna finds herself not only struggling with her own problems, but wondering about Daniel herself.
Blood Drive is the sequel to The Becoming and let me tell you if you have yet to read a book by Jeanne C. Stein you are in for a fabulous ride. Anna is a strong character and will stop at nothing to get to the core of the matter. Her devotion to her family is quite commendable, too. When paired against Daniel, the drama unfolds and it is as if the whole setting comes alive and jumps from the pages. The twist and turns in this magnificent read are captivating with an ending that leaves this reader practically in awe. Ms. Stein weaves suspense and edge of the seat entertainment in this fast paced bonanza of a read that has this reader begging for more.
