Mikhel is Serge's brother, and used to have a thing for Derri. In their vampire culture, it is normal to swap siblings partners, but Mikhel and Derri had decided to not do that anymore, because their feelings were to strong. When Serge gets the idea to have Mikhel get Derri pregnant, neither one of them want to do it. Will they be able to deal with their past so there will be a bright future ahead?
This is a story that has some interesting ideas about vampire families. Both Mikhel and Derri are worried that their feelings for each other will get out of control. Strangely enough, their spouses seem to have no problem with the two of them being so close. The characters felt a little flat to me, they were so busy saying how much they loved their spouses and how difficult it would be to give in, it was a little abrupt when they did. Then it turned into a big love fest. The sex was hot and frequent; there is no holding back in this book. If you are looking for an easy, quick read, this is a good place to start.
