I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. This story is filled with action and several sexual encounters between Noah and Rachel. I liked Noah. He's very sweet and protective not only with Rachel, but with the people he helps while working as an EMT. I felt sorry for Noah as he had lost his wife and children and was not able to trust that he could have a new relationship. But he couldn't stop himself from trying again when he meets Rachel. Rachel is perfect for him because she feels the same way. She's lonely and wants to have a relationship that will last forever. I also liked that she was a doctor. Because Noah only worked at night they hadn't met, and if it hadn't been for her accident they probably wouldn't have. She wants and needs to see him so she transfers to the night shift and that is a very smart move. The love scenes between them are hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.
