From their first encounter, their intense attraction to each other was immediate. Even though she’s his boss, and no matter how hard they fought their attraction, it was too strong for either to deny. I love the two protagonists, Leila and Marcus. I found myself laughing unexpectedly at odd moments as they both try to control their wild attraction to each other with some amusing results. When they do finally give in to temptation, their sexual encounters are frequent and scorching. I find myself rooting for them as they fought to be together against the odds of their forbidden love. This is the first time that I’ve read a book by this author and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well she has developed the characters of Leila and Marcus, their backgrounds, and the vampire world within such a short amount of time. This is definitely an author to watch. This story contains some brief instances of f/f encounters, one scene of f/f/m and one of f/m/f encounter.
