After she awakens, Katherine is having a hard time dealing with what he has told her and chooses to run, but she can never run far or fast enough to get away from him. The vampire council is out to kill her and he must keep her safe at all costs, can he convince her to stay with him? This is an excellent book with plenty of action and adventure to keep the reader happy. Secondary characters like Katherine's sister and mother make the story even more interesting. To really capture the readers attention Lex's friend Fabin is brought into the plot. Love scenes are so hot; cold showers will be needed to cool the readers down. Mara Lee has created a great book that will have readers up long into the night.
