Orion can't believe what he is hearing. Kira wants to leave him? He's jealous enough of the new man in her life, but he can't believe she would ever willingly leave him. She is too independent to let a man dictate to her, he is sure of it. More than that, he thinks he's more important to her than that. When the bullets start flying, he has to save her life or die trying. Will she see him in a different light?

This was an awesome story! I genuinely liked both characters. Orion is a strong man who lives by his convictions no matter how difficult it may sometimes be. Kira is his lifeline, and when she decides to leave him he's understandably stunned. Kira wants a normal life and a husband, and she has decided leaving Orion is the only way to do it. Orion will never see her in a romantic light, so she feels she has to settle for what she can get. When these two finally get together, the sparks that fly are incredible. I loved the story and how the two characters had to start believing in the strength of each other's feelings before they could be together. Blood Ties is definitely a fantastic story you shouldn't miss.
