Detective Stephen Moore was truly fascinated with his new partner, Kayla Roberts. He found her to be smart as well as beautiful and a total mystery – a mystery that he was determined to discover more about and perhaps slip into bed with. But, Stephen gained more than he bargained for when he was caught in the crossfire between Kayla and her vengeance seeking mob boss. Not only were their lives in danger; but, Stephen discovered Kayla's true identity.

Will Kayla and Stephen come out on the winning side of their duel with the mob? And, more importantly, how will Stephen respond when he learns of Kayla's secret.

I found Blood Vengeance to be a thrilling paranormal read that was overflowing with non-stop action and super-hot sex. From chapter one, I was totally hooked and was eagerly flipping page after page to see how the story would unfold. As the storyline journeyed at a rapid pace, I could easily envision each scene as if it was a movie on a big screen. Kayla was a tough cop with a kick-ass attitude to back it up. While, Stephen showcased great strength and was the perfect match for Kayla even when there was tension between them. The sexual encounters were scorching and the burning attraction between the couple flamed up the pages and left me breathless. This is my first time reading Bronwyn Lee's work and I look forward to discovering more of her wonderfully exciting stories.
