Blood Wine and Pale Roses

Denyse Bridger
Paranormal romance
Available from The Wild Rose Press

Eden Colbourne was running from heartbreak and bad decisions. She finds refuge in an abbey. She comes face to face with a man who she seems to know. She has painted him many times. Sean Rourke is a vampire who knows betrayal, and trust doesn't come easy for him. He is drawn to Eden, but will he be able to open his heart to her? An enemy from his past will not make things easier between them. He (Sean) will do anything to keep her safe.

I liked this paranormal story a lot. This is a story that you can reread and you will enjoy it just like you did the first time. It was fast paced once I started it and I couldn't stop reading until I found out what would happen between Eden and Sean. They both had known heartbreak, but that did not stop them from growing closer to each other. Sean's enemy was always trying to destroy them, but their love was too strong to die. They will have to learn to trust that they will not hurt one another and that staying apart is really the only way they could hurt each other. The lovemaking between them is super hot.
