| There is a place for everything in Sandy Parks's life and when Ralph Hipp moves from his spot in her life, it brings nothing but chaos. Will Ralph find a new place for himself in Sandy's life? Or will she put him back where he once was and keep him at a distance?
I was quickly pulled into the world of the pack with this story. Even though it is part of a series, this story can be read as a stand-alone. Lorie O'clare writes a sensuous story with characters full of emotion. Sandy is an independent and smart woman but she is lonely and Ralph just might be able to help her with that. Ralph is a strong and insistent man who has waited long enough for what he wants and isn't afraid to claim it now. The developing relationship between the two is a very intense ride. Sandy goes through an emotional journey while trying to find herself and her place in the pack. Ralph is patient and lets Sandy decide for herself but his patience grows thin. He is a man in love and will not take no for an answer. I really enjoyed the interaction between Sandy and Ralph. No matter what she says, he continues to reassure Sandy that she in not only beautiful and smart but that she has raised her daughter and now must have a life of her own. Showing Sandy that a real man not only cares about sex but he cares about her mind and her well being as well. Even though their relationship is a hot one that sizzles right off the pages the reader can see the love that develops between these two. This may be the first of the Lunewolf series that I have read but I know that I will be sure to check out the other books in this series and any others from this author.
