| Casey Ridge didn’t want to go to a bachelor party even if Judd, the groom, would become his brother-in-law. It seemed like everyone was finding, and marrying, their one-and-only, except for Casey. He had found her but she refused to be tied down.
Josie Brusky sang at the Blue Bug Saloon; she also owned Josie’s Treasures. She was considered the local bad girl and the daughter of a man whose reputation still haunted her even after his death. She and Casey had an encounter years ago. She refused to allow him to keep her from leaving town. When she returned, he tried to prove herself unworthy of love. This is a great book! Ms. Amber Leigh Williams has written about a town I’ve come to know and love -- Wayback, Texas. The book is fast-paced, definitely a page turner, and one I literally didn’t want to put down. Then, when it ended, I immediately wanted more. Ms. Williams gave us wonderfully-developed individuals and the settings and scenes made me feel as if I was a resident of Wayback. The supporting characters were both comedic and caring. The entire town had opinions and those were freely explored in the book. The sensuality was explosive, the sex was well-written, and it was all done in good taste. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. I had a few surprises along the way, including the fantastic ending. I highly recommend this book. I know you will enjoy it as did I.
