Mister Lang runs a retreat that helps men get in touch with what it means to be male. He helps them unlearn the social restrictions that make them what they are and helps them be what they can be. Brent Dunne isn't sure why he signed up. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Joe Legere is trying to come to terms with his future. The two men seem to just want one another but real life is complicated.

Gregory L. Norris pens a tale that's a little like opera or a Shakespearean play. The love story seems to be going so well. Both Brent and Joe are virginal gay men who actually do use the camp for self discovery. They find a love with one another like nothing they've ever experienced before. And then it just ends when Joe breaks it off and makes Brent promise not to think of him or try to contract him again. We're all left to wonder what happened until we come to a very different ending.. Mr.. Norris has made this almost too esoteric. I know I had to look up things to try to figure what happened. Other readers may not struggle as much as I did to understand some obscure reference to a goddess helping the boys.
