| In this first of a trilogy about the Thorn brothers, Cohen Thorn, the youngest, had led a more sheltered life than his older brothers. There was a lot he was too young to remember. The family took care of him and gave him a hard time because he met a woman at a pub in “town” near his brother’s home and never got over her. They promised to meet in the same place a year later. He was there waiting on her when his brother realized why he was so anxious.
Hayleigh Davenport was afraid Cohen wouldn’t be there, but she was determined to see if he showed. When she walked through the door of the pub and saw him walk toward her, she couldn’t believe things were so tense. This was definitely going to be an exciting evening for both of them. Melissa Lopez introduced her readers to the Thorn brothers with the baby of the family and a “Yank” as the Aussies called Americans. Their dynamic reunion was explosive and fast-paced. This quick read was not short on details and left out nothing. The sensuality of the couple was volatile as well as explicit. The storyline was a great introduction to the trilogy which followed these brothers. I loved Cohen. He was vulnerable and was his love, Hayleigh. I guarantee readers will fall for this couple and not be able to wait for the following books. I highly recommend this book.
