| Damon Clyde’s new client is driving him up the wall. He can handle her interfering and even her conviction that she’s psychic. But when it comes to how her sexy little body is affecting him, he just might end up in an asylum trying to control himself.
Kandrea-don’t-call-me-Kandy Kane can’t stop thinking about latest and best painting inspired by the messages from the spirit world. Trying to ignore her attraction to gruff but oh-so-buff Damon, she knows she needs to find the person the painting is meant for. Jaid Black’s novella is a quick but thoroughly satisfying tale of acceptance, psychic powers, and home improvement mishaps. Damon was the quintessential alpha male but with a vulnerability that was moving. His confusion over his immediate and powerful attraction to Kandrea was just hilarious! The female protagonist was also of unexpected depths (for a story of this length) as under her prickly exterior, we find a sweet and surprisingly innocent person with a naughty streak and vulnerabilities of her own. The main characters seem like perfect complements to each other and this fast-paced and very entertaining story was a wonderful setting for their coming together.
