Tad Merryman is out gathering wood on Midsummer’s Night when he has the bad luck to be cursed by Titania, Queen of the Fairies. Usually the top man in M/M sex he finds himself wanting to be the bottom man after Titania decides to take her anger at her husband out on poor Tad. He’s walking along, wallowing in his misery, when his horse Nobbin goes lame. Martin, the blacksmith he visits, is new in town. The chemistry between the two is as hot as the smithy’s fire. Suddenly the curse doesn’t seem so bad.

Ms. Jewell delivers a fun, witty tale. How many authors would let one of the stars of an erotic book be a horse who wants his master to make the right choice for a mate? Titania is painted as a witch with a queen’s crown and gives us a villain to dislike. Martin and Tad are well written into becoming a couple. This is novella length but it’s packed with fun scenes that make it a quick, easy read.
