Joey Sutherland is a farmhand on Geoff Laughton's farm. The farm has become a refuge since an accident left him scarred. Joey is asked to pick up Robert Edward Jameson, a musician with a visiting symphony. He thinks Robbie will either be disgusted or pity him when he sees him, just like everyone else, but Robbie is blind and accepts Joey for who he really is and not what he looks like. The two young men fall in love. Too soon it is time for Robbie to leave. Can the young men who have become so close teach each other come to live a life without the boundaries they have set for themselves?

This is the sequel to 'Love Means No Shame" and is just as heart warming and enjoyable. The characters of are well written, the author brought out the fears and insecurities of Joey and Robbie without letting the story be overwhelmed by them. The focus of the plot is overcoming disabilities and the author gives a unique prospective on how we can limit ourselves based on how people perceive us and our disabilities. This really came through with Robbie as he was a completely different person at home than when he was with Joey. There was one subplot that left me a little bit frustrated -- that all might not be well between Len and Charlie. It just left me wondering that maybe this could be a set up for another story, but there was no way of knowing. There are some m/m sex situations, but they are not too risqué or involved so that it would distract the reader from the story. I have enjoyed reading this series by the author and I hope that maybe there will be at least one more story in the series, I would like see more of the characters and how they are doing.
